By signing this registration, you agree NOT to hold the SREA Trail and / or its staff members liable for any accidents or damages to public or private property.
FISH AT OWN RISK.
- SREA tournament will be held at any river level. If the river is too high at the proposed ramp, the landing will be changed to Stokes Bluff or Milestone. Decisions for ramp changes will be made the Wednesday before the tournament. Anthony Joyner will determine if the ramp location needs to be moved due to high water. Any river level above 11.5 feet at 301 will be moved.
- All boats must be at least 14′ in length.
- Good sportsmanship is a must.
- Life vest must be worn when boat is at more than idle speed.
- All boats must follow all no wake zones including bridges. Anglers blowing through bridges can be disqualified.
- Must keep 100′ from all boats on anchor.
- Children (under 18) are allowed to fish with legal guardian’s consent.
- All anglers must keep one foot in the boat at all times, except emergencies. (No dragging in lakes.)
- Winners will be awarded by total weight of 5 legally caught bass. The bass must be alive at weigh-in. (1/2 pound penalty for each dead fish.)
- No live bait.
- All fish must be caught during tournament hours.
- 1/2 pound deduction for every 2 minutes late. You will be disqualified after 10 minutes.
- No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are allowed.
- Only one rod/reel used per angler at one time. (No trolling)
- Tournament director may request a polygraph test. If you refuse, you will be disqualified.
- S.R.E.A. has the right to disqualify anyone who does not abide by these rules.
- The Tournament Director of S.R.E.A has the right to reject any person’s entry into the tournament if he feels it is not in the best interest of the tournament.
- All ties will be decided by big fish. (big fish ties decided by total weight)
- All boats must meet Coast Guard regulations.
- At take off, all boats must stay at idle speed until reaching the middle of the river. If you take off in a lake or next to the bank, you will be disqualified.
- If you are not in the water and ready to go when your number is called to blast off, you will have to wait until last to take off.
- All protests should be made known to a staff member within 15 minutes of the scale closing.
- NO CULLING of dead fish. 5 dead fish is an automatic disqualification.
- No more than 5 fish can be kept at any time. Teams must cull when catching the 6th fish prior to catching any additional fish.
- Anglers of the Year Qualifications
- Total POINTS for the year will determine Anglers (Team of the Year).
- The last qualifier will be a double points tournament.
- Anglers of the Year will receive a $300 cash prize, free entry into the championship, and a plaque.
- Anglers of the Year will decide the ramp on the Savannah River for the championship. The ramp location must be decided by September 1, 2025.
- Anglers of the Year will blastoff first in the championship.
- Championship Qualifications:
- The top ten teams, in POINTS, for the year will be eligible to fish the championship. AND, all teams that fish 6 of the 8 tournaments will be eligible to fish the championship. You are welcome to pay entry fees for each tournament the week before and not fish the tournament. Paying entry fees will allow you to count that tournament in the number of tournaments you must fish to be eligible for the championship.
- A team must be declared when fishing the first event.
- Must fish Final with your partner or a sub your team used
- **NO NEW SUBS AT FINAL & NO PAIRING UP AT FINAL WITH ANOTHER MEMBER OR SUB**
- If a team splits, the POINTS accrued by the team will go to boat owner.
- If two members from different teams fish a tournament, the POINTS will go to the boat owner’s team.
